This phishing email impersonates popular accounting software Quickbooks distributed by Intuit.

It prompts the recipient to log into their platform for a “payment deposit”, and provide a link to log in.

    Suspicious elements:

    • The email address of the sender is @info.net
    • There is no user name for the recipient, which you should see if the alert is generated from your account on the platform
    • There are no details on the transaction itself
    • The link provided doesn’t point to the Quickbooks platform

NOTE: The real domain for Intuit Quickbooks is https://quickbooks.intuit.com. The link to “Payment Deposit” leads to a WordPress website based out of Greece.
