Amazon Family invitation / Password reset

We have received an email that looks like it’s coming from Amazon:

    Giveaways of a phishing email:

    • The recipient’s address shown in the email (singhbristi131@gmail.com ) is not the address of who received the email.
    • The subject of the email hints at an invitation, however it’s inconsistent with a password reset request. You should not be prompted to change your password when an invite to join a legitimate program is sent.
    • The sentences are not coherent: from Hello Password Reset : to the body of the letter, it’s impossible to understand what it is about. Is it for “benefits”, for managing the “Family Sharing” options, share Amazon photos, managing children profile? This email is a big word salad.
    • The email says that they have sent the password reset code to another address (duwjatu4ec@suarj.com)
    • The “password reset code” is repeated three times.

    What should you do?

    • Don’t click on the link
    • Report the email as phishing
